Who we are

This website belongs to Frame Work, a creative agency in Auckland founded by Max Gustafson and Matthew Lyons. We look after your personal information under New Zealand’s Privacy Act 2020. If you have a question about your information, send us a message through the project form.

What we collect and why

  • When you send project details (the project form): your name, email address, and anything else you choose to add (business name, phone, website, what you need). It is used only to reply to you and quote your project. It is emailed to us through Resend, an email service in the United States.
  • Visit statistics: Vercel Analytics counts page visits and how fast pages load. It does not use cookies and does not identify you.
  • Only if you say yes: if it is switched on, Microsoft Clarity records how visitors scroll and click (heatmaps and screen recordings) so we can see what’s confusing and fix it, and PostHog tests which version of a headline or button works better. Forms are hidden from these recordings. If you say no, nothing is recorded. You can change your answer by clearing this site’s data in your browser.
  • Error reports: if a page breaks, Sentry tells us what went wrong. It is set up not to collect your name, cookies or anything you type.

Where it is stored

The services above store information outside New Zealand, mainly in the United States. We only use services that protect information to a standard comparable to New Zealand law.

How long we keep it

Messages are kept for as long as we need them to help you, and no longer than 2 years. Visit recordings are deleted by Microsoft Clarity after 30 days. We never sell your information or add you to a mailing list.

Your rights

You can ask to see the information we hold about you and ask us to correct it. To ask, send us a message through the project form and we’ll reply within 20 working days.

If you’re not happy with how we handled your information, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner.
