Frame Work was founded by two friends, Max Gustafson and Matthew Lyons, who share a passion for design, technology, content creation and business.
Their journey with website design began around 2020, when they were about thirteen. What started as experimenting with websites and learning digital skills grew into years of hands-on experience.
Over time, those shared interests became an ambition to build something bigger. Frame Work brings those years of learning together in one creative agency, combining website design, content production and digital marketing.
Today, alongside their camera and content production crew, Max and Matthew help New Zealand businesses strengthen their brands and reach new audiences.

Max Gustafson
Max’s passion for digital creation began at seven years old, when he started editing videos on his family’s home iMac.
Over the years he developed his editing skills, worked on videos for multiple gaming YouTubers and built his own social media accounts. One of his TikTok accounts grew to just under 55,000 followers.
Alongside video editing and content creation, Max has been building websites since about age thirteen.
Today he brings his experience in content creation, social media, web design and creative direction to Frame Work.

Matthew Lyons
Matthew has been passionate about web design since about age thirteen, developing his skills in website design, development and digital functionality.
He also founded Precision Cleans, a cleaning business that grew from a weekend operation into an established service business. Alongside his business partner, he helped grow Precision Cleans into an operation generating over NZ$2,000 a week.
That gives Matthew first-hand knowledge of entrepreneurship, running operations and growing a business.
He brings strong technical web development skills and real business experience to Frame Work.
